We have been sold a very specific image of what the dream life looks like.
Linen everything. 5am wake-up. Green smoothie. Unbothered. passive income while you travel. And for some women maybe that’s real. But for most of us, the ones with the 9-5 and the kid and the bills and the healing we’re still doing quietly in the background. That image doesn’t fit our lives.
And so we put our dream life on hold. Until we can afford it. Until we have more time. Until things calm down. And we keep waiting.

The soft life is not an aesthetic.

The dream life version of this isn’t a 10-step routine you can’t sustain. It’s a ritual you actually look forward to. A body you feel at home in. Mornings where you tend to yourself before you tend to everything else.
What this looks like in practice:
- A skincare routine you do every night, even the short version
- Body lotion applied slowly, not rushed
- Sleep protected like it matters, because it does

2 | MOVE – Your energy and how you fuel yourself

This one is personal to me. For a long time I was so focused on getting through my days that I stopped living them. I wasn’t doing things just because they sounded good. I wasn’t taking myself on dates.
The dream life version of this is stopping the waiting. The table for one at the restaurant you’ve been wanting to try. The solo drive somewhere beautiful. The thing on your list you keep pushing to when I have more time.
What this looks like in practice:
- One solo outing per week, even something small
- Booking the thing before you talk yourself out of it
- A list of experiences you want to have in the next 90 days
- Treating yourself like someone whose time and enjoyment matters
6 | HER – Your mindset and identity
The deepest layer. And the one that makes everything else sustainable.
It’s who you are when nobody needs anything from you. Your relationship with yourself. The story you tell about your own life.
The dream life version of this is a woman who feels at home in herself. Who speaks to herself with kindness. Who is actively becoming someone she respects.
What this looks like in practice:
- An affirmation you say out loud every morning, even if it feels weird at first
- Unfollowing accounts that consistently make you feel less than
- Journaling, even one sentence before bed
- Naming what you want instead of waiting to deserve it
