Now look at your scores. Your two lowest numbers are your summer focus areas. That is where your rebuild begins.

Before you decide what to add to your summer, decide what you are releasing. This step gets skipped constantly and it is the one that creates the most space.

Now the opposite. Not what you should want. Not what you are supposed to want. What do you actually want?

These questions are harder than the release audit. They require you to know what you want, and many of us have been so focused on managing obligations that we have lost touch with our own desire. Be patient with yourself. Let the answers come slowly if they need to.
4 | The Action Audit
The audit is not complete until you have identified what you are actually going to do with it. Not a 47-step plan. Three commitments.
| YOUR THREE SUMMER COMMITMENTS From everything you have just audited, identify: 1. The ONE thing you are releasing before summer begins 2. The ONE habit or practice you are building this summer (start small – one anchor) 3. The ONE experience or direction you are moving toward this summer Write them down. Tell someone. Put them somewhere you will see them. |
Three commitments. Not thirty. Three. The women who actually change their lives do not do everything at once. They do the right things consistently.
5 | How to Use This Audit All Summer
The audit is not a one-time event. At the midpoint of summer – July 1st or whenever you are roughly halfway through, come back and do a mini version.
How are you doing against your three commitments? What has changed in your layer scores? What do you need to adjust? What needs more attention?
And at the end of August, do the full audit again. Look at your scores in June and your scores in August. The distance between them, even if it is small is evidence. Evidence that you showed up. Evidence that the choices you made compounded. Evidence that intentional living actually produces different outcomes than reacting to whatever happens next.
The audit is not a judgment. It is a compass. Use it every time you want to know which way to point.
